Is Mohtam really free?
Yes. Publishing accounts start free on the Starter plan — no credit card, no time limit. Starter has enough limits to get you running. Upgrade only when you outgrow them.
Do I need approval to sign up?
No. Create your Publishing account, fill out the short form, and it's ready instantly — no admin approval, no waiting.
Can I set up a restaurant on Mohtam?
Restaurant management has moved to Sufra — our dedicated restaurant product at sufraapp.io. New restaurants sign up there for QR ordering, kitchen display, menu management, and more. Restaurants already running on Mohtam keep working exactly as before.
What about Shop and Reservation?
Shop and Reservation onboarding is paused while we rebuild them. Existing shops and reservation businesses keep working; new signups are temporarily unavailable. Publishing is open and free to start today.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on paid Publishing plans. Both Growth and Professional include 1 custom domain per website — with automatic free SSL. You can run multiple websites and map each to its own domain.
Which payment gateways do you support?
Tap and Moyasar are built in. Need another gateway like Paytabs, Stripe, or HyperPay? Request it and we ship it fast.
Can I run multiple websites on one account?
Yes — from one login and one dashboard. Add as many websites as you want; each is its own billable site you can switch between from the sidebar and upgrade independently.
What shared tools come with every business type?
Restaurant, Shop, and Reservation accounts share the same expense tracking, financial reports (P&L with CSV export), customer reviews, coupons, team members & roles, global search, and AI setup tools. Learn the UI once — it works the same everywhere.
Can I track expenses and run financial reports?
Yes. Record expenses by category, filter by period, and export to CSV. The Reports page shows revenue, expenses, profit, margin, and a comparison to the previous period — available on every paid plan for Restaurant, Shop, and Reservation.
Are my businesses kept separate?
Yes. Each business keeps its own orders, products, bookings, expenses, team, and plan. Switching businesses in the sidebar swaps the entire dashboard context — no data leaks between them.
Do all business types include reviews and coupons?
Yes, on paid plans. Customer reviews and coupon codes are shared features across Restaurant, Shop, and Reservation — same UI, same rules, same reporting.
Can I import my existing menu or products?
Restaurants can use the AI menu importer during setup — upload a PDF or a photo and it extracts categories, items, prices, and descriptions. Shops can import products via CSV.
Is the platform in Arabic?
Mohtam is Saudi-built with native RTL and supports 7 languages out of the box (Arabic, English, French, Spanish, Turkish, German, Urdu).
