Overview

The review system allows end-customers to leave star ratings and written reviews on products (Shop) and menu items (Restaurant). All reviews go through a moderation queue before appearing publicly.

How Reviews Work

1. Customer submits a review with a 1-5 star rating, optional title, and comment
2. The system checks if the customer has a verified purchase for that item
3. The review enters the moderation queue (not visible publicly yet)
4. You approve or reject the review from the admin panel
5. Approved reviews appear on the product/menu item page

Moderation

Navigate to Reviews in the sidebar (available for both Restaurant and Shop accounts).

Filters

• Pending — Reviews awaiting your approval
• Approved — Published reviews
• Reported — Reviews flagged by other users
• All — Everything

Verified Purchase Badge

Reviews from customers who have a completed order containing the reviewed item receive a "Verified Purchase" badge automatically.

Rate Limiting

• Maximum 1 review per email per item (prevents duplicate reviews)
• Maximum 5 reviews per email per day across the entire site (prevents spam)

Reporting

Customers can report inappropriate reviews. Reported reviews are flagged in your moderation queue with the report reason displayed.
